The following errata are effective from Friday, September 25, 2026.
Levia, Shadowborn Abomination + Levia
Levia was originally released in 2021 in Monarch – the fourth Flesh and Blood set ever. Unlike many other heroes, her ability was designed purely to offset the massive disadvantage of having cards with blood debt in her banished zone. However, the way that it mitigates that damage is to remove the blood debt ability entirely.
Enter Blasmophet, the Insatiable Hunger. Because triggered effects resolve independently of their source, removing blood debt from a card after the blood debt effect has already triggered does not prevent the loss of life. This was a severely limiting restriction on the design space for Levia and her patron – we want to be able to banish cards during the end phase to avoid that loss of life. As such, Levia (both young and adult hero cards) are getting an update to modify her mechanic that prevents blood debt – by preventing the loss of life rather than just removing the blood debt ability from the cards. This change has a miniscule impact on existing interactions (e.g. Seek and Destroy + Beast Within), but will be very relevant with the new Blasmophet, the Insatiable Hunger. Her demi-hero card, Levia, Redeemed, will remain unchanged.
Levia will be reprinted in Usurp the Shadow Throne and Levia, Shadowborn Abomination will be reprinted as a World Championship Promo, both with the new textbox.
If a card with 6 or more 
has been put into your banished zone this turn, you don’t lose from blood debt during the end phase.
