Making his debut in Heavy Hitters in 2024, Victor was the hero everyone loved to hate – sitting smugly atop his high horse, dipping into his immense wealth to bend the outcome of clashes to his advantage. Victor repped the Goldmane family banner in the arena for several seasons, but it was with the release of Visit Goldmane Estate that the Golden Son truly started punching down. All it took was the ascension of a few Wizards to Living Legend for Victor to reign supreme as the premium fatigue deck, stacking up piles of Gold and galloping into battle with mighty swings to completely flatten the opponent.
Victor’s playstyle was primarily defensive, with an aggressive end goal. The main method Victor used to squash his opponents in battle was through clashing. As a Guardian with access to high power attacks, Victor would often come out on top. The few times he didn’t, he could simply rely on his deep pockets to fix the outcome. Throughout the game, these constant clash victories would give Victor a defensive edge, all while he continued to accumulate Gold with the intention of converting them into Might tokens. Opponents had to bring enough aggression to overcome the heavy defense, while also packing a late game plan to avoid getting fatigued.
